What is the process to book you for custom calligraphy or stationery?
Fill out the form on my contact page and tell me about your event and what kind of work you are seeking. From there, we will schedule a consultation to better understand your vision. If your vision is a good fit for my style and process, I will then create a proposal based on the consultation. Your proposal includes your estimated pricing, timeline from design through completion, and contract. Custom stationery requires a $500 deposit to book a spot on my calendar, or a $250 deposit to secure custom calligraphy services. Your date is secured upon payment of the deposit and signing of the contract.
How does your custom stationery process work?
Once your date is secured we will begin your design process. This is broken into 3 phases.
1) Sketch phase - This will include preliminary sketches and a design board of what is going on in my head and a thorough review of your Pinterest or personal wedding planning inspiration boards so I know what is going on in your head.
2) Design phase - Once the preliminary sketches are approved, I will put pen to paper and begin the calligraphy, art, and design. Then, I will present you designed files to review. You will receive up to 3 rounds of revisions to ensure that your stationery is perfect before we send to print.
3) Assembly phase - Once I receive all of your pretty paper back from my trusted printers, I will begin my favorite part, the assembly phase! You will receive your little bundles of joy from me fully assembled with envelopes fully calligraphed and postage affixed, if included. Your invitations will arrive to you ready for you to seal, drop in the mail, and watch your guests swoon.
What is your turnaround time for projects?
Calligraphy projects take an average of 2 - 4 weeks, depending on scope. Full service design projects typically take 2 to 4 months from start to finish. We will nail down your timeline prior to booking.
